Athletic Therapy
Athletic Therapists specialize in acute and chronic injury assessment. On-site care and active rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries (bone, muscle, joint) allow Athletic Therapists to help return clients to their previous activity levels - whether that be competitive sport or everyday movements.
Assessments are designed to determine the cause of a client's limitation or contributing factors towards injury. Through the use of modalities, manual therapy techniques and exercise, Athletic Therapists are able to decrease client's pain and swelling, improve range-of-motion, strength and performance.

The benefits of an FST and Massage Therapy combined treatment can include reduction in pain, muscle tension and post-exercise muscle soreness; lower levels of stress, anxiety, and depression.
IASTM is a skilled intervention that includes the use of specialized tools to manipulate the skin, myofascia, muscles, and tendons by various direct compressive stroke techniques. Clinical studies have shown IASTM treatments can improve ROM, strength and pain perception.
FST can also improve joint mobility, circulation, lymphatic drainage, recovery and tissue healing after injury, sleep, mood and mental alertness.
For these treatments, it is best to have on athletic wear / clothes that you can easily move in.
